Roy was born in Fort Jackson, SC to Clarence Lee Bryant and Martha Armstrong Bryant on June 19, 1948. He was a United States Army Veteran of Vietnam and was married to Kay Bryant for 43 years.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Kay; a daughter, Tiffany Lamb; two grandsons, Skyler Lynn Lamb and Wyatt Matthew Lamb; three sisters, Lillie, Billie & Jackie and three brothers, Richard, Bobby and Jimmy.
