Rozelle Blanscet Wale

Rozelle Blanscet Wale age 80 of Amarillo died December 29, 2010.Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Monday January 3, 2011 at Bell Avenue Baptist Church with Pastor Danny Logan officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery, Amarillo, Texas. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S Georgia St. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 4 to 6 Pm Sunday January 2, 2011Rozelle was born to John and Rosa Blanscet in Gotebo, Oklahoma November 20, 1930. She married Hoyt Wale July 14, 1947 in Vernon, Texas together they had four children. She was involved in many activities and volunteered with the Parkinson’s Association and local widows group and enjoyed activities at her Church.  She had a group of friends that would get together weekly, and they enjoyed shopping, playing cards and fellowship. She was devoted to her family and was a fabulous cook and enjoyed family gatherings. Most of all she loved to be with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. .Preceded in death by her husband Hoyt Wale in 2007, one brother, and three sisters.Survived by her two daughters, Pattie Plaster and husband Ronnie of Amarillo and Cindy Jamison and husband David of Goldthwaite, Texas; two sons, Ronnie Wale and wife Sharon of Bixby, Oklahoma, and Mike Wale and wife Diane of Conroe, Texas; one sister, Joy Lou Long and husband, Bill of Pueblo, Colorado; 10 grandchildren; 16 great- grandchildren.Memorials may be made to Amarillo Parkinson’s Disease Association, PO.
