Ruby A. Wochner

Ruby Alice Wochner age 93 of Canyon, died December 29, 2010.Ruby was born to Curtis and Amanda Bradshaw in Monte Vista, Colorado August 10, 1917.  She was a very down to earth woman who loved her grandchildren and spending time with her family. She liked to cook, play bridge, work on crosswords puzzles, and fish.After losing her eye sight she did a lot of memorization techniques to keep her mind sharp, she was a very smart person and enjoyed learning.She is preceded in death by her husband Paul Wochner, and a daughter Barbara HobbsShe is survived by son in-law, Richard Hobbs and wife Carol of Cortez, Colorado; two grandchildren, Susan Carter and husband, Malcolm of Amarillo; Vincent Hobbs and wife, Sharon of Albuquerque, New Mexico; four great- grandchildren, and three great- great- grandchildren.A Graveside Service will be held at a later date.Memorials can be made to American Council for the Blind 403 S Western Amarillo, Texas 79106 and American Cancer Society 3915 S.
