Ryan Libbin, 15, passed away at home on Monday, November 13, 2017.
A visitation will be held from 5:00-6:00 p.m., Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 20, 2017 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 1601 S. Georgia St.
Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St., Amarillo.
Ryan was born on December 29, 2001 in Red Bank, N.J. to parents Thomas and Celeste Libbin. Ryan was loved very much by those who knew him well. He enjoyed video games, science, animals, surfing, doing experiments, traveling and most anything to do with the beach. He was great with electronics and when his parents couldn’t figure out why something wasn’t working, he fixed it. Ryan touched many lives and will be missed.
Ryan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald and Marion Soya, Herb Libbin, Thelma Carolan and step grandfather, Jim Carolan.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents; Thomas and Celeste Libbin; his brother, Alek Libbin; step grandmother, Bonnie Selleck of Toms River, N.J.; aunts and uncles, Dr. Gary Soya and wife Susan of Amarillo, Heather and husband Carl Rehn of Piscataway, N.J., Arthur Libbin and wife Rita of Waycross, GA, Stephen Libbin and wife Adriana of Wall Township, N.J., Michael Libbin and wife Regina of Bethlehem, GA, and Phillip Libbin and wife Suzanne of Bordertown, N.J.; cousins, Mary Beth, Daniel and Kyle Soya, Carl and Nicholas Rehn, Jordan, Gabriella, Kayla, Ashley, Casey, Russell, Megan, James, Andrew and Abigail Libbin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to “SOAR”, an organization to help pay for a child with ADHD to go to summer camp.
