Santos P. Gonzalez

Santos P. Gonzalez, age 76 of Amarillo, went home to be with the Lord on December 19, 2020.

Rosary will be said at 6:00pm, Tuesday, December 22, 2020 in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 3:00pm. Wednesday, December 23, 2020 in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.

He was born on July 10, 1944 in Cotulla TX to Juan & Leonarda Gonzalez.   Santos grew up in Cotulla and later moved to Hereford TX in 1963.  Where he met the love of his life and married Juanita Cruz on November 6, 1966 and they started their lives together.  Santos was a hardworking, loving and caring man that touched and impacted many lives of friends and family.  He was always the first to help someone in need, lend an ear or provide a word of advice to those he loved.  His greatest gift was the love he had for his wife and his family.

He is proceeded in death by both his parents and brother Juan Gonzalez Jr,. Sister Alice Gonzalez Reyes, and great grand-daughter Lauryn Gausin.

He is survived by his wife Juanita Gonzalez, son Gilbert & spouse Elena Gonzalez of Amarillo, daughter Stephanie & spouse David Parrish of Dallas.  Four granddaughters - D’Anne, Mariah, Chrystal, and Gracie.  Six great-grandchildren; Ayden, Izayah, Julian, Araceli, Christian, and Ariana.  One brother Cornelio and four sisters Esperanza, Elida, Lucy and Leonarda.
