Shana Hope Brownlee, 46 of Amarillo died Friday, January 6, 2012.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 14 at Brentwood Chapel in Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia, with Todd Gudgell, President of the Hereford Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.
Shana was born July 1, 1965 in Amarillo to Joseph and Roxie Brownlee. She obtained her BA in nursing from Oklahoma Panhandle State University and her Masters as a Nurse Practitioner from WTAMU. Known as Gogi, Momma, Aunt Shana and “Miss Shana,” she was devoted to her friends and family that she held dear, and in her profession gave tender loving care to her patients at both Regence Health Care in Amarillo and Family Medicine Center Emergency Clinic in Canyon. Her patients from Advo held a special place in her heart and were very uplifting to her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Brownlee, her mother, Roxie Brownlee, a brother, Davy Brownlee, and an infant brother Baby Joe
Survivors include two sons of Amarillo, Rhorry King and Roman Ceniceros and his wife Kristina, three sisters, one brother, two granddaughters Kadince and Sareenah, and many nieces and nephews.
