Sharon was born on June 7, 1943 to Absie M. “Pete” and Leona Boutte LeBoeuf in Port Arthur, TX. She married the love of her life, Dan Walker Allen, on May 31, 1977.
Sharon was a happy, caring, loving person who was special to all who knew her. She was a very caring and loving friend, too. She never met a stranger! If you met her, you were her friend instantly; at least she made you feel like you were! She loved to travel and play golf with Dan, and she loved to spend time with her family and friends. She loved her grandchildren more than anything. She gave her life to her family. Her love for people carried over to her professional life as well. She started out as a bookkeeper at a CPA firm, then started helping those that needed it to be approved by Medicaid, mostly representing the elderly. She also traveled all over the country doing long-term training for American National Insurance Company. She loved to help people, especially those that didn’t have someone. Sharon Allen loved and was greatly loved while here on this earth. If you knew her, you knew she loved you, and you definitely fell in love with her.
She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Tiffany South (Stacy) of Amarillo, TX, and Crystal Allison (Grant) of Bay City, TX, and six grandchildren, Kaitlin Perry (Daniel), Dilan Johnson, Laura Fox (Nathan), Shadrach Hamner, Jordan Hamner, and Clay Allison. Sharon was also a proud great-grandmother of 4: Mikka Cooper, Zane Perry, Kaidance Perry, and Brooklyn Hamner. Sharon is also survived by her special cousins Roxanne Champagne Becker (Ricky) and Laura Gail Cole (David).
