Sharon Oberbrockling

Sharon Oberbrockling age 69 of Amarillo passed away August 10, 2015 in Amarillo.

A Rosary will be held at 7 PM at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel on Friday evening. The funeral Mass will be on Saturday at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.  Rev. Hector Madrigal will commemorate. The burial will follow at 3 PM in the cemetery in Stinnett, Texas.

Sharon was born January 3, 1946 in Borger to Ralph and Evelyn Lewis Beagle.  On October 19, 1979 she married the love of her life, David Paul Oberbrockling in Amarillo at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Sharon was a lover of the Texas Panhandle; she loved the sunrises, the sunsets, and the people.  She also was very fond of horses and in her youth was an avid rider.  Diamonds, some say are a girl’s best friend and for Sharon this was certainly the truth.  She loved jewelry and David made sure she was lavished in sparkle.

Although Sharon was passionate about many things in her life, shopping for one; nothing compared to the love and devotion she had for her entire family.  She was so proud to be David’s wife and mother of their daughter Dani.  Sharon was overjoyed to learn that Dani and her fiancé , Stephen were expecting a child, her first grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Evelyn Beagle and two brothers, Darrell and Charles Beagle.

She is survived by her husband, David; her daughter Dani and soon to be born baby; Dani’s fiancé,  Stephen Enriquez; sister Mona Eades of Odessa; brother Arnold Ralph Beagle of Borger; eight nieces and three nephews.

The family suggests memorial donations to be made to the American Cancer Society.
