Shirley Louise Flowers of Amarillo died Tuesday April 21st. She was a resident at Hillside Heights Rehabilitation Suites.
Shirley was born December 2, 1927; her parents were Andrew Johnson Taylor and Merle Averitt Taylor. She lived many years in Pampa before moving to Amarillo where she completed her education.
Her working career was in insurance and she retired from The Hartford where she was an adjuster.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her oldest son Milton Andrew Flowers and her beloved grandson Jeffrey Alan Flowers. Survivors include a son Gregory Alan Flowers and wife Elaine Flowers.
She loved all animals and donated generously to organizations that promised to care for them. In lieu of flowers please donate to a local animal welfare charity in her name
