Stanley Paul Carel

Stanley Paul Carel was born in Okarche, Oklahoma on September 26, 1954. He left this world in the loving arms of his savior Jesus Christ on September 12, 2009.
Stan grew up in Union City, Oklahoma and was a graduate of Union City High School. He was also a graduate of several different colleges, including El Reno College, Oklahoma City University, and Amarillo College; with various degrees.
Stan worked for the Rock Island and Burlington Northern Railroads for a combined total of 30 years. Stan was a member of the American Society of Safety Engineering. He was a passionate OU fan and loved the Chicago Cubs. He was a friend of Bill W. Stan, was a dedicated member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and also belonged to Stephen Ministry.
Stan was a giving and loving person who was devoted to his wife and sons. He was dedicated to helping others with compassion and love. Stan will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hubert and Kathryn Carel.
Left to mourn his passing are his beloved wife, Penny of the home; sons Joshua Carel USAF and Matthew Carel and their mother, Brenda. Brothers, Joe Carel and David Carel; sisters, Janis Jaro and her husband Dirk, and Kathy Burroughs, all of Oklahoma; stepchildren Vanessa Harris and J.D. Harris USAF. Many aunts, uncles, and cousins survive Stan, along with a host of friends.
