STEPHEN “STEVE” LEROY DeALESSIO, age 77 of Amarillo died July 24, 2011.

Per Steve’s request, there will be no services.

Steve was the second of five boys born to the late Anthony and Martha Krenius DeAlessio in New Milford, Connecticut on July 10, 1934.  He graduated from New Milford High School in 1952.  He served in the United States Army in West Germany, during the height of the Cold War; attaining the rank of Corporal and was honorably discharged in 1955.  He was an accomplished mechanic and skilled machinist. He worked for Kimberly Clark Corporation in Connecticut for 19 years.  After moving to Amarillo he worked at A-Tex.
