Sue Casey, 84, of Amarillo, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in Amarillo.
A rosary will be said at 6:00 PM Friday, September 8, 2017 at Schooler Funeral Home’s Brentwood Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 9, 2017 at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 2300 N. Spring St. with Rev. Felipe Alvarez as celebrant and Rev. Gabriel Garcia as concelebrant. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
Sue was born on July 4, 1933 in Amarillo to Harry and Madylyn Casey. She grew up in Southern California. Sue was a graduate of Amarillo High School. She was a long time employee of Bank of America and also served as a substitute teacher for several Catholic schools. Sue was a long time member of St. Laurence Catholic Church.
Sue is survived by her two sons, Laurence Casey and wife Jeannie of Amarillo, John Casey and wife Kimla of Amarillo; four grandchildren, Krystel Stevens and husband Nathan, Jason Casey and wife Jennifer, Kathryn Casey, and Brianna Forester and husband Randy; and nine great-grandchildren, Kolton, Kaden, Kamden, Khloe, Riley, Mattie, Kaylina, Madison and Aubree.
