Susan Lynn Bartlow

Susan Lynn Tomlin Bartlow, 60, died Sunday, April 25, 2010, in Houston after an extended illness.Susan was born April 16, 1950, in Nashville, TN, to Arthur “Tuck” and Joy Tomlin. She married the love of her life, Paul Bartlow, on August 29, 1970, in Amarillo. They lived in Friendswood. Susan worked for Hitachi Data Systems as a director of process management. She is a Tascosa High School graduate who earned a bachelor’s degree from West Texas State University and a master’s from the University of Houston. Susan loved her work, her family, learning new things and traveling the world. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents and her niece.She is survived by her husband; her brother, Robert C. Tomlin and wife, Jayne, of Carolina Beach, NC; her niece, Robyn Tomlin Carter and husband, Kevin, and their sons, Andrew and Avery, also of Carolina Beach; mother-in-law Freida Bartlow of Amarillo; brother-in-law David Bartlow and wife, Laina of Amarillo; niece Summer Nelson of Amarillo; niece Susie O’Brien of Chicago; and a dear friend, Reggie Logan of Amarillo.
