Suzanne was born on August 20, 1941 in Amarillo, TX to Dink and Anne Smith Hamilton. She graduated from Amarillo High School in 1960. She married Dan Bailey on August 25, 1963.
Suzanne retired from AT&T in 2007 after 15 years of service as a telephone operator. Suzanne loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was especially fond of her maternal grandmother, Tronnie Duke Smith who assisted in raising Suzanne for many years.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, her grandmother and a son Ricky Glenn Provence.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years Dan Bailey; a daughter Kim Renay Provence; a son Bryan Hamilton Bailey and his wife Lisa all of Amarillo; a brother Duke Boling of Dallas; a sister Jerry Ward of Amarillo; a daughter in law Gina Provence of Amarillo; grandchildren Cristin, Colby, Cassi, Chance, Bobby, Paige and Tammy all of Amarillo; three great-grandchildren Colton, Bryson, and Chloe of Amarillo, TX.
