Suzanne “Suzy” Harsh died Monday, March 12, 2012.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 16, 2012 at Hillside Christian Church WEST Chapel with John Phillips and Rev. Craig Albracht, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
Suzanne “Suzy” Harsh was born on December 9, 1939 to Ira and Maurene Lown. She earned her teaching degree from University of the Pacific, and went on to earn a degree in Bible Study from Liberty University. She was an elementary school teacher for 18 years.
Suzanne was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her husband, kids, and grandkids. She was a tomboy but she enjoyed quilting, had a love for animals, playing tennis and riding her Harley. Suzanne loved the Lord.
She is survived by her husband Dev; two daughters Kirsten Mills and husband Russell of Warsaw, Indiana, and Kathy Holverson and husband Gary of The Colony, Texas; four grandchildren, Erin and Sara Mills, and Emily and Jacob Holverson.
The family will receive friends today from 6-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
