Sylvester Anthony Herricks

Memorial service will be scheduled at a later time for in March of 2011; Arrangements through Schooler Funeral Home.Sylvester was born on September 26, 1918 to Ben and Amelia Herricks in Oak Grove County, Wisconsin. He married Mary Lusson on May 29, 1943. Sylvester served in WWII. He was in the Third Amour Division of the first armed service, and served in European theater. His ranked was Staff Sgt 1st Class. He was preceded in death by son-in-law Steve Dutton.He was survived by Spouse Mary Herricks of Amarillo, TX: daughters Cheryl Dutton, Vicki Spencer of Benton, KY and Marsa Moreland of Bayfield, CO: son Gary J Herricks of Lafayette, La: 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.In lieu of flowers the family would like memorials to be sent to Amarillo College PO Box 447 Amarillo, TX 79718 in behalf of Steve Dutton.
