Terri Lynn Harris

Terri Lynn Harris, 65, of Amarillo died Thursday, August 4, 2022.

Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m., Friday, August 12, 2022 at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 13, 2022 at St. Stephen United Methodist Church, 4600 S. Western St. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Terri was born in Pampa, TX. She graduated from Pampa High School and attended Amarillo College. She married Terry Wynn Harris in Pampa in 1978. Terri was an active member in the Amarillo community. She was a member of Amarillo Country Club where she played in the Women’s Tennis League. She enjoyed birthday club luncheons and attending various holiday events with her friends, such as Poinsettia Luncheons and charity events. Terri enjoyed watching her children participate in high school sporting events, and continued the tradition of watching her grandsons. When Terri was not attending a community event or watching sports, she enjoyed being outside by her pool or grilling on the patio with her family and friends/neighbors.

Terri was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Wynn Harris; her father, Thomas J. Cox; her mother, Leota W. Arthur and Robert “Bob” Floyd Arthur Jr.; an uncle, Lanny Orin Weatherly; and an aunt, Rosalie Doucette.

Survivors include her son, Barkley Miles Harris and wife Krystin Nichole of Keller; her daughter, Kristen Michelle Harris of Chicago; two sisters, Tammy Lou Hughey of Chandler, Tracie Lois Timmons and husband Steve of Wheeler; and brother, Robert Floyd Arthur III of Chandler. Terri had two grandsons, Preston Terry Harris and Paxton Michael Harris of Keller; and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
