Terry Lee Brewer age 61 of Claude died July 11, 2011 in Amarillo.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM. Wednesday July 13, 2011 at United Methodist Church of Claude, Texas with Rev. Dan Carter officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.
A candlelight Vigil will be held July 17, 2011, 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Lowry’s Saloon. 609 Independence St. at one block east of Western and Bushland St. and 6th Avenue Intersection in Amarillo.
Terry was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Harry Brewer and Nina Florence Burkeen Brewer on June 3, 1950. Terry has lived in the Texas panhandle for over 25 years. He has worked as a cowboy on several Ranches and in area feedlots. He has also shod horses for many people in the panhandle- and in New Mexico. Terry is also an excellent leather craftsman and .saddle maker. Terry was a last of a dying breed.
Survivors include his wife Jeanette Brewer of the home, daughter, Anneli Dover and husband, Ryan of Riverside, Ca; sons, Shannon Perry and wife, Terri of Albuquerque, Damon Brewer and wife, Melissa of Indio, Ca, Todd Brewer and wife, Lorena of Palm Desert, Ca, and Kyle Brewer and wife, Isela of Palm Desert, Ca; two sisters, Pam Brewer and Gwen Brewer; three brothers, Guy Brewer, Mark Brewer, and Calvin Brewer; and his five grandchildren.
Family Suggest memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 3915 S. Bell, Amarillo, Texas 79109; BSA Hospice in care of Olivia’s angels, PO. Box 950 Amarillo, Texas 79176.
