Thelma Lee Johnson

Thelma Lee Johnson, age 88, died Tuesday, September 11, 2012.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 14 in Brentwood Chapel at Schooler Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Haney officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
Thelma was born September 19, 1923 in Ashtola, Texas to Lee and Bertha Warnecke. She married the love of her life, George Johnson on December 24, 1940, in Amarillo.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of WAGS Motor Home Club and Eastern Star. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, canning, fishing, and crafting.
Thelma was a very sweet woman and was there for those who needed her. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a grandson and a great-grandson.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Brazille of Amarillo and Corky Patterson of Henrietta; two sons, T. J. Johnson of Amarillo and Pete Johnson of Slaton; a brother, Joe Warnecke; ten grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and dear friends, Betty Hughes and Opal Schaus.
