Thomas Wayne Conwell, 31, of Amarillo died May 11, 2013.
Funeral services will be at 2:00PM, Thursday, May 16, 2013 in Kingswood United Methodist Church with Dr. Bradford Reeves officiating. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Thirty one years is considered a very short life span. Tommy filled those years as full as he possibly could. He woke up every day with a big smile looking forward to go. He saw only the good in everyone, and looked for a smile on every face. Life for him was a wonder he approached with his wide open blue eyes. He acknowledged every help he received with a pat on the head or arm, or a gentle touch of his chin to a shoulder. We learned how to communicate on a different level, how to appreciate so many things we would have missed without him. We love him and miss him very much and will keep him safely in our hearts until we meet again.
He is survived by his parents Billy and Lori Conwell, a sister, Amy Jones and husband Christopher, a brother Steven T. Conwell, his aunts and uncles, Chris McMonigle, Jonathan and Darrell Conwell, Vera and Rick Reid, and Doris and Lynn Armstorng, his grandmother, Daisy Conwell, and many cousins.
