Thomas "Tom" Carlos Trimble

THOMAS “TOM” CARLOS TRIMBLE, age 60 of Amarillo died November 22, 2014 in Amarillo.
Funeral Services will be 5:00 PM on Saturday, November 29th at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel.
Joseph C. Kutin, Chief Chaplain of the VA Hospital of Amarillo will officiate.  Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia. Military Honors will be provided by Volleys for Veterans.
Tom was born September 22, 1954 to Carlos Bay and Naomi Ruth Trimble in Westchester, PA.  After high school, Tom enlisted in the United States Marines. Tom was an honor marine upon completing boot camp and achieved the rank of sergeant.    He served from April 14, 1975 until July 13. 1979.  After being together since July 26, 1980, he married Belinda Spear on July 26, 1996 in Houston.
Tom most recently worked at R and L Carriers but previously worked at Baker Hughes in Houston as the Manufacturing Supervisor.
They love time spent together and were very active and enjoyed traveling.  Nascar events ranked high on the list; Dale Earnhardt and Dale Jr, being amongst his favorites.  They were season ticket holders at the Texas Motor Speedway.  Some of the happiest times were spent together travelling to Austin, San Antonio and Padre Island.
Tom had a creative side too and enjoyed woodworking, gardening.  He also liked to watch movie documentaries about military and historical events.  Tom enjoyed and loved life to the fullest, enjoying good food, music and drink while spending time with friends and family; however, his heart belonged to Belinda, small kittens and his 1969 Cheville SS that he was currently in the process of restoring.
The family will receive guest at the funeral home on Saturday, November 29th from 4 PM until service time.
He was preceded in death by his brother Rodney Trimble and his wife Leslie.
Tom is survived by his parents of Kennett Square, PA; his wife Belinda of Amarillo; his sister, Susie Gouge and her husband John of North East, Maryland; three brothers, Tim Trimble and his wife Carolyn of Landenberg, PA, Nick Trimble and his wife Sharon of Newark, DE, and Mark Trimble of Wilmington, DE; and ten nieces and nephews and six great nieces and nephews.
