Thomas “Coach” Watt, age 62 of Ft. Worth, met his Savior at the gates of heaven in Amarillo on August 8, 2011.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM. on Friday, August 12, 2011 at Champions Crossing Church in Grapevine, TX. Kevin Dutton will officiate. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Coach Watt was born in Nacogdoches on April 28, 1949 to Jack and Frances Watt. He married the love of his life, Mary Richman in 1970 in Mabank, TX. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin with a MA and taught and coached for over thirty five years. He coached everything but his passion was for football. The only thing that rivaled his love for the game was the love he held for his family. His wife, children and grandchildren were what made his world complete. Tommy also enjoyed camping and took his family on several trips each year.
He is lovingly survived by his wife of forty one years, Mary; his four sons, and their families, Eric and his wife, Renae and their daughter, Ella Rose of Hardin, MO; T.C. and his wife, Rachel and their daughter, Grace of Ft. Worth, TX; Michael and his wife, Blanda and their children, Joshua, Caleb, and Benjamin of Lubbock, TX; and Anthony and his wife, Misty and their children, Noah and Taylor of Amarillo; brother, Don Watt and his wife, Sarahlyn of Mansfield, TX and a sister, Becky Watt of Irving, TX
