Tommy Ray Sharber, age 66, of Amarillo died Tuesday, July 10, 2012.
Family will receive guests Thursday from 6-7 PM at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home 4100 S. Georgia St.
Memorial Service will be held Friday 2:00 PM at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel with Bro. Calvin Powell officiating. Private burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Mr. Sharber was born September 25, 1945 in Whitesboro to Lee Ray Sharber and LeDona Duvak. He Married Denny Hanke on September 29, 1994.
He received an Associate’s Degree in Law Enforcement from Clarendon College and served as McLean’s Sheriff for a number of years. He worked at Amarillo National Bank.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Tommy Ray is survived by Denny, his wife of 17 years; his sons, Denny Ray and Eric Ray Sharber and his wife Mary; his grandchildren, Travis Sharber, Cameron Sharber and Kayla Sharber; his siblings, Ronald & Vera Sharber and Dale & LaJuana Sharber and special friends, Julie Byer and Marcella Black.
