Trevor Dean Porter 26 of Amarillo died July 18, 2011.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday July 23, 2011 at Paramount Baptist Church, with Darrell Anderson, Associate Pastor officiating. A private family burial will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.
Trevor was born March 5, 1985, in Roswell, New Mexico. He graduated from Claude High School in 2003, and attended Texas Tech University and Clarendon Jr. College.
Trevor loved fishing and baseball. He was a very loving son, brother, and father. He found his greatest joy in his daughter Emma. He was a strong and tenderhearted man who was loyal and protective over those he loved. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his daughter, Emma Thompson Porter; his parents, Jeff and Sandy Porter of Amarillo; a sister Brittany Porter; grandparents, John and Martha Messerli, Paul Zimmerman, Cliff Porter, and Ann Garcia;
