Burial will be at Llano cemetery at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 31, 2012.
Memorial Service will be at 2:00 PM at St. Steven United Methodist Church with Rev. Stan Cosby and Dr. Jim Smith officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
Twila was born on November 24, 1925 in Monument, Kansas to James and Ruth Sawyer.
She married Charles “Chuck” Lawrence on December 20, 1968. She was a member of St. Stephen United Methodist Church for 20 years and was active in the Bridge Builders Sunday School class and Stars Choir.
Proceeded in death by her beloved husband and a son, Donald Crawford in 2009.
She is survived by three sons, Lloyd Crawford and wife Sandy of Amarillo, Garland Crawford and wife Ruth and James Crawford and wife, Irene, all of Denver; a sister, Imogene Binns and husband Clifford “Pete” of Scott City, Kansas.; two brothers, Richard Sawyer of Gravouis Mills, Missouri and Dean Sawyer of Lawrence, KS; 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Family will receive guests from 7:00-8:00pm on Monday, January 30, 2012 at Schooler Funeral Home.
Family suggests memorials be made to St. Stephen United Methodist Building Project, 4600 S. Western, Amarillo, TX 79109.
