Dell Penrod, age 82, passed away on December 4, 2011.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Brentwood Chapel in Schooler Funeral Home. 4100 S. Georgia. Burial will be in Dumas at Northlawn Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.
Dell was born May 21, 1929 in Shamrock, Texas to Delbert Simms Morris and Frances Mae Keyes Morris. She was a member of Bolton Street Baptist Church for many years and it was a very important part of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl in 1981; one sister and seven brothers.
She is survived by a stepdaughter, Natacha Burk of Canyon; two brothers, Jim Morris and Danny Morris, both of Amarillo; two sisters, Mary Peters of Amarillo, Patsy Smith of Fritch; three grandchildren, David, Michael and Denise; and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Salvation Army, 400 S. Harrison, Amarillo, TX 79101 or Bolton Street Baptist Church, 2550 S. Bolton, Amarillo, TX 79103.
