Venita C. Hickey

Venita Christine Hickey went to be with her Lord, Sunday, August 2, 2020 at the age of 71 years 2 months and 29 days old.

She was born in Erick, Oklahoma on May 3, 1949 to Ovie Denton Worley and Betty Jo Helm. She grew up splitting her time between Erick and Groom, eventually settling in Groom in 1975. She worked for TXDOT in Groom for many years, and served numerous cups of coffee at the Grill.  Venita married Thomas M Head January 30, 1965 in Erick, Oklahoma to which one child was born, Rodney W Head. Later she married Thomas Rhoades in 1967 to which no children were born. Her final marriage was to Allen N Hickey December 8, 1969 to which two children were born, Juanita J Reed and Clarence D Hickey.

Venita was preceded in death by her parents, Sister Lynn Talley, Husband Thomas M Head, son Rodney Head, and Great Grandchildren, McKynlee Cook and Luke Reed. She is survived by her Brother Roger and Shirley Holland of Norman, OK, Daughter Juanita and Don Reed of Piedmont, MO, Son Clarence and Sandie Hickey of Groom, TX and Daughter-in-Law Mary Head of Groom. Grand Children Thomas W and Savannah Head of Oklahoma City, OK Christine and partner Ruthie of Poplar Bluff, MO, Ruby and Adam Morton of Jackson, MO, Joshua Reed of Piedmont, MO, Courtney Head of Chillicothe, TX and Hope Hickey of Groom, TX. Great Grandchildren, Audrina Williams, Abigail Morton, Rylee Reed and Marvin Morton. Beloved Nieces and Nephews all of whom she was very fond of.
