Verda Wilson, 77, died January 5, 2013, in Amarillo, Texas.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 pm today at Schooler Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 11, at 11:00 am at First Christian Church Centralia, in Centralia Missouri.
She was devoted to her family and friends, many remember her leadership with DAR. She volunteered service with Centralia Historical Museum as a director for nine years. She attended many activities and hosted several meetings with the American Business Women’s Association. She worked as director of international sales for AB Chance Company and traveled all over the world. She spent most of her time between Missouri and Texas although she enjoyed spending her summers in New Mexico and her winters in deep South Texas. She was a devoted Christian and worked in many different churches throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Missouri.
Verda was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Eva Wilson.
