Vicki Lyn Baldwin 66, of Amarillo passed away on January 7, 2013
Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 19, at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
Vicki was born June 10, 1946 in Minneapolis, MN to Gerri and Arlo Tillisch. They moved to Amarillo in 1956. She attended Amarillo schools, graduating from Amarillo High School and earned an associate’s degree from Amarillo College. Vicki then moved to Chicago and worked for United Airlines as a flight attendant for several years. Upon returning to Amarillo, she worked as a secretary for El Paso Exploration for 16 years. She was active in volunteer work for pet therapy and service work and gave tirelessly of herself to anyone who needed her help.
Vicki married Lanny Baldwin in 1978 and they resided in Amarillo until his passing in 1990. She was also preceded in death by her mother Gerri Bianchi and father, Arlo Tillisch.
Survivors include a brother, Stephen Tillisch and wife, Betsy; step sister, Carol Emblom and husband Mark; step brother Tom Tillisch; and cousins Cindy, Mark, and Nancy, and her late husband’s family.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Amarillo Humane Society, 3501 South Osage Street, Amarillo, TX 79118
