Vida Ruth Page, 88 of Amarillo died, October 3, 2012.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00AM, Wednesday, October 11, 2012 at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel with Dale Moreland, associate pastor, Church at Quail Creek. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Mrs. Page was born January 21, 1924 in Wilson Oklahoma to Joseph and Henrietta Henderson. Vida was the youngest of 12 children. She served as a nurse at the Veterans hospital until her retirement in 1990. Vida enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, swimming, and traveling.
Survivors include her daughter, Sherry Page of North Oaks, Minnesota, her sons, Larry Page and wife Suzanne of Corpus Christi, and Jerry Rogers and wife Phyllis of Amarillo, a sister, Ima Lee Reece of Iowa Park, 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Family suggests memorials be made to Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch.
