Viva Ann (Elliott) Campbell

Viva Ann Campbell, 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 24th 2022.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Viva was born May 7th, 1931 in Salina Kansas and later moved to Levelland, Texas where she graduated from high school. She kept many fond memories of cheerleading and high school football where she met her eventual husband, Harvey Campbell.  They married on June 23rd, 1951, and had three children.

Over the years Viva was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother to all.  She quietly, but magically, made the best home-cooked comfort food and lovingly wrapped holiday gifts at Dunlap’s department store.  She also formed deep, life-long relationships with several close friends.

Viva is preceded in death by her parents: Hattie Marie and Rusty Elliott, her brother Roddie Curtis, her husband , and son: Gary Campbell.

Viva is survived by her daughter-in-law Rose Campbell, son Chuck Campbell, daughter Kristy Nussbaum and husband Philip, grandson Stephen Campbell and wife Yvonne, grandson Richard Campbell and wife Melina, granddaughter Amy Blalock and husband Eric, grandson Will Nussbaum and wife Robyn, granddaughter Elizabeth Candelaria and husband Xavier, and nine great grandchildren.
