Wayne Morris age 73 of Amarillo, died Tuesday January 18, 2011Memorial Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday January 29, 2011 at the Arena of Life Church, with Pastor Ty Jones officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S Georgia St. Amarillo, Texas.Wayne was born in Samnorwood, Texas to Delbert Sims Morris and Frances Mae Keyes Morris.  He married Eva P. McPhetridge July 24, 1972 in El Reno, Oklahoma. He traded cattle and horses, and worked for Texas Saddlery Company for many years. He was a member of The Arena of Life Church.He is preceded in death by a daughter, Lanore Sturdevant February 24, 2001; grandsons, Kevin Jackson and Travis Sturdevant.Survived by, his wife Eva Morris, his sons, Gary Morris and wife, Connie of Amarillo, Eddie Don Sturdevant and wife Jo Ann of Amarillo, Jerry Wayne Morris and wife, Donna of Springdown, Texas, Ronnie Savage of Amarillo, and Larry Don Morris of Amarillo; three sisters Mary Peters of Amarillo, Vondell Penrod of Amarillo, Patsy Wallace of Fritch; two brothers, Jim Morris of Amarillo, and Danny Morris of Amarillo; four grandchildren,Chris Morris, Bradley Morris, Nathan and Erin Sturdevant; and nine great- grandchildren.
