Willamae Rose Walls, 86, of Amarillo passed peacefully into the kingdom of Heaven on July 29, 2022.
A celebration of Willamae's life will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 2pm in the Schooler Funeral Home's Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia with Rev. Chris Condit officiating.
Willamae Rose (Liebsch) Walls was born August 9, 1935 in Trinidad, Colorado to William and Sadie (Lavato) Liebsch. She was entirely and whole heartedly devoted to her family, faith, and church. She loved the Lord God with every bit of her heart and soul. A dedicated member of Blessed Sacrament Church of Amarillo, Willamae always made Mass until her health no longer allowed it.
When she wasn't at church, she could often be found with her beloved family. She adored them and spending as much time as she could with each of them. Willamae supported her children and grandchildren in all of their hopes and dreams. She found great joy in making sure she captured every moment with them on camera so she could have pictures to look back on and cherish the memories.
Willamae also loved to dance and she absolutely loved roses of all colors. Her beautiful presence will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.
Willamae is preceded in death by her husband Bueal L. Walls, son Leonard R. Garcia, her parents and step father John Willmon, brothers Eddie and Gilbert Liebsch, and Arthur Willmon; and her son in law Robert Lawson. Those left to cherish her memories are her daughters Melinda M. Lawson and Dana L. Walls, sons Lloyd F., Richard E., Steven, Benjamin C., and Frankie Jr. Garcia; and sisters Gladys, Armilinda, and Cleo. Willamae also leaves a legacy of 17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
