William E Briggs, 60, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 in Amarillo, Texas.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, November 17, 2014 at Central Church of Christ with Mr. Matthew Blake officiating. Interment will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
He was born on August 17, 1954 in Rantoul, Illinois to William J. and Anna G. Thompson Briggs. William grew up in Amarillo, Texas. He went to Tascosa High School; after high school he became paint contractor and owned his own business Briggs Paint Contracting.
William is preceded in death by his parents, William and Anna Briggs.
He is survived by his daughter, Karrie Briggs Loftin of Amarillo Texas; his sisters, Patricia Dallke and Debra Heath, of Amarillo; his niece, Roxanne Sanchez and nephew Shea Murray and many other relatives.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 2:00-3:00, Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the funeral home.
