William Chrzanowski, 83 of Amarillo died February 22, 2013.
Vigil Service will be 7:00 p.m. - Sunday, February 24, 2013 at St. Thomas Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. – Monday, February 25, 2013 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, with Father Scott Raef, celebrant. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
William was born on April 2, 1929 in Niagra Falls, New York to Charles and Stephania Chrzanowski. He married Ann Szczypiorska on August 10, 1963 in Cheektowaga, New York. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korea War MP in the states. William was employed as an installer for Western Electric and AT&T until retiring on June 1, 1989. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and also a member of the Knights of Columbus as a 4th Degree Knight.
William was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Francis and John Chrzanowski and a sister, Frances Chrzanowski.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Chrzanowski of the home, children, Claudette Simpson and husband, Kurt, Christie Isaacson and husband, Mark (Ike), Laurie Chrzanowski, Maria Chrzanowski, Brenda Smith, and Damian Chrzanowski and wife, Carol; grandchildren, Harlee and Sawyer Simpson, Cass, Kallye and Dacey Smith, Corey, Dani, Luke, and Parker Chrzanowski. And his dog, Katy.
