They qualified for the finals in Las Vegas, Nevada several times and won saddles, belt buckles and cash numerous times. Dax has a roping arena, horse stalls, and bunkhouse at his home in Amarillo where they enjoyed roping with their friends. David got up at 4 a.m. each day to feed the horses, right up until the night he passed away.
