Willie Clay Warren, 88, of Amarillo, died Saturday, November 26, 2016.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, November 28, 2016 at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel with Bob Crass and Rev. Kim Talley as officiants. Private burial will follow. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia, Amarillo.
Willie was born on February 20, 1928 in Twitty to Virgil and Nettie Dan Harris. She married Denver Ray Warren in Tucumcari, NM on November 9, 1953. She attended Amarillo College and received a Medication Aide Certificate and worked for many years caring for elderly patients which was a passion of hers. She also enjoyed being a member of the ASCA Bridge Club. However, Willie’s greatest loves were her grandchildren and her friends and family at Central Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Denver Ray Warren; her grandson, Dustin Wade Fristoe; and fourteen siblings.
Willie is survived by her daughter, Gayle Fristoe of Amarillo; two grandchildren, Caleb Fristoe and wife, Kasey of Knoxville, TN and Zachary Fristoe of Amarillo; and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members.
