Winnie Graves

Winnie Mae Graves, 81, of Amarillo passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 13, 2018 at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel.  Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.

Winnie was born November 21, 1936 in Turkey, TX to Theodore and Rua Phillips.  She married the love of her life, Don Graves on March 13th, 1953 and they enjoyed sixty-five years of marriage.  Winnie retired as supervisor at Western Merchandising where she worked for more than twenty years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Carolyn Word and Ginger Roach; and one brother, Sonny Phillips.

.Winnie is survived by her husband, Don of Amarillo; her daughter, Nora James and husband, Donnie; her son, Donnie Graves and wife, Lindsey; her sisters, Shirley Chaffee and husband James, Linda Choate and husband, Eddie, and Brenda Ennis and husband, Nathan, all of Amarillo; her brother, Wayne Phillips of Dumas; her grandchildren, Lisa Trask and husband, Michael, Kim Taylor and husband, Ricky, Sara Martinez and husband, Raymond, Amber Thompson and husband, Tate, Chariti Graves and Ronnie Cain; her grandson, Brandon Pacheco; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
